Video Rendering Issues
Video Rendering Issues
Most video renders complete successfully within 2–5 minutes. If your render fails or produces unexpected results, this guide covers the most common issues and their solutions.
Render Stuck at "Processing"
If your render has been in "Processing" status for more than 15 minutes:
- Refresh the page to check for a status update.
- Go to My Videos and look for the video — it may have completed without the notification triggering.
- If the status still shows processing, click "Cancel Render" and try rendering again.
- If the issue persists, try rendering at a lower resolution (720p instead of 1080p) to rule out resource constraints.
Render Failed Error
Common causes and fixes:
- Unsupported media file — one of your uploaded assets may be in a format the renderer cannot process. Re-upload the file in a supported format (MP4 for video, PNG/JPG for images, MP3/WAV for audio).
- Corrupted media — even if the file format is correct, the file may be damaged. Try re-exporting or re-downloading the source file and uploading it again.
- Scene duration too short — scenes shorter than 0.5 seconds can cause rendering errors. Ensure each scene is at least 1 second long.
- Too many scenes — videos with more than 50 scenes may hit processing limits. Split your project into multiple shorter videos.
Audio/Video Out of Sync
If the voiceover or music does not align with the visuals:
- Check that individual scene durations match the voiceover timing in the editor.
- Use the timeline view to verify that audio and video layers align correctly.
- If using uploaded audio, ensure the file is not variable bitrate (VBR) — constant bitrate (CBR) audio syncs more reliably.
Low Quality Output
If the rendered video looks blurry or pixelated:
- Verify your plan supports the resolution you selected (4K requires Business or Enterprise).
- Check that uploaded images are at least 1920×1080 pixels. Low-resolution source images will appear blurry when scaled up.
- Ensure your video clips are at least 720p. ClipsMate cannot upscale low-resolution video without quality loss.
Watermark Appearing Unexpectedly
A ClipsMate watermark appears on Starter plan renders. Upgrade to Professional or higher to remove it. If you are on a paid plan and still see a watermark, check that your subscription is active under Settings > Subscription.
Contacting Support
If none of the above solutions resolve your issue, contact support with the video ID (found on the video details page) and a description of the problem. Our team typically responds within 2 hours during business hours.
